Snurkles and gurgles

Furkle and Jack sometimes communicate through snurkling sounds and gurgling tones. Furkle decides one day that he wants to write down their conversations.

But how can he write down a snurkling sound? How would it look different on paper from a gurgling tone? What can Furkle do to show that one sound or tone is different from another? Perhaps Jack can help Furkle with this task.
