This hands-on three day course will give you the experience of creating a short film from scratch using digital and computer technology coupled with Bubble Dome’s unique creative thinking skills. Students cover all workshops listed below over the duration of the course.
PRE-PRODUCTION WORKSHOP
Explore the movie making process from start to finish using incredible creative thinking strategies to unlock your own amazing ideas for storyboarding and scripting a movie.
ACTING AND FILM DIRECTORS LAB
Learn practical acting skills as you create your movie, and work with a team to experience the unique challenges of directing and producing movies.
POST-PRODUCTION WORKSHOP
Here you will edit and mix your final film using computer editing software learning the critical skills of analysing your shots and footage as you put together your final movie reel.
OPTIONAL 5.30PM FINISH – CLAYMATION – Stop Frame Animation
Discover the exciting art of stop frame animation as you create a movie short using clay modelling. Invent your own character, script and background and let your imagination run wild! Learn how the great movies have been made firsthand and have a fun experience you can continue at home!
